Burgundy boxes for the Maky metaphorical card deck

The burgundy lid and base box holds the 108-card Maky deck and measures 11 x 8 x 5 cm inside. The lid slides over the base almost to the bottom, so the deck is enclosed on every side and still comes out in one movement. The box is covered with burgundy Pergraphica, a dense matte paper with a fine grain. Rigid greyboard keeps the corners square even in this small format.

The lid is printed in gold ink with a poppy drawn in fine hatching, the Maky name and two lines naming the transformational metaphorical cards and their author. Warm gold on burgundy gives a soft rather than sharp contrast, and the single ink ties the drawing and text into one block. The small lid leaves clear margins around the print.
