Handmade ceramics boxes for Sweet Ukraine

The dark brown lid and base box for Sweet Ukraine handmade ceramics measures 18 x 18 x 6 cm inside. The base is lined with brown satin gathered in soft folds: the fabric forms a hollow in which the item rests without touching the walls. The lid lifts off completely, so the contents are revealed at once and in full. Rigid greyboard keeps the edges of the square lid straight.

A gold diamond lattice covers the whole lid, with a thin frame in the same ink along the edge. In the centre is the Sweet Ukraine emblem with scrollwork and a line naming the ceramics manufactory. A single print colour on dark paper keeps the design understated despite the dense pattern.
